A concert celebrating the 100th birthday of Leonard Bernstein, one of America's greatest conductors and composers, with a performance of his exuberant choral work. Tickets £15.00, Students in full time education and under 18s £5.00. Directed by Bruce Saunders. Golden music from Renaissance Portugal and Spain, including Victoria, Vivanco, Cardoso, Morago, Lobo, guerrero, de Gois and the modern world premiere of the recently discovered Requiem Mass by Antonio Gallego.

Thursday 18th October - 5.30pm - Tewkesbury Abbey's Schola Cantorum 
Directed by Simon Bell, Solemn Evensong for the Feast of Saint Luke the Evangelist will be sung by Schola Cantorum, the choir of men and boys which sings the weekday services in Tewkesbury Abbey. This will be preceded at 3pm by a talk about the history of the church by Professor Gillian Clark, Professor Emerita of Ancient History  at Bristol University.  Admission is free and all are welcome.

Wednesday 24th October - 6.00pm - Carmen On The Lake - 
Opera At All Saints

Bristol Film Festival are partnering with All Saints Church to bring a groundbreaking production of Carmen, produced for the Bregenz Festival on a stunning floating stage. Enjoy a spectacular evening of event cinema at its finest. There will be a drinks reception and live music on arrival, then marvel at this classic piece of opera brought to life in a unique way.
