Worship at All Saints

worship

The rhythm of daily worship provides the heartbeat to all that goes on at All Saints.

Morning and Evening Prayer are said at 8am and 6pm each day. Details here.

Mass is also celebrated daily (though times vary according to the day).  Please see here for full details.

The Sunday Mass is celebrated three times, at 8.00am, 9:30am and 11.00am.
Each of these Masses has a slightly different style, at 8.00am it is a quiet Said Mass, 9.30 am is the Family Mass (or Family Service) and the 11.00am is the full sung Parish Mass. Details can be found here.

Sung Evening Prayer and Benediction is maintained at 6.00pm on the first Sunday of each month..

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a warm welcome whatever your denomination or the usual style of worship you might attend.

All Saints is in the Anglo-Catholic tradition of the Church of England and the worship reflects the reverence, ceremonial and ritual of this tradition.  Modern liturgy is used, and music is an important part of the 9:30am and 11am Masses.

Is All Saints for all ages?

At All Saints all ages have the opportunity to experience and participate in the services.   There is no separation of children so that at the Family Services all family members worship, learn and share together.  These services are interactive and include all-age participation!

Young people are also engaged in a wide variety of other roles and responsibilities, which includes a great choir and busy serving team.

For younger children there is an oasis of toys and books for those moments when they might struggle to engage with any of the other things that are going on.

Is there a dress code?

None at all. Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

You are absolutely free to just be present, simply observe or actively participate as much as you feel comfortable with or how much you'd like to.

I have more questions, how can I get in touch and ask?

Please feel free to contact us.
