Community of the Sisters of the Church (Bristol)

The Community of the Sisters of the Church is a worldwide Anglican Religious Order with ministries in Australia, Canada, Solomon Islands and the United Kingdom

All Saints has a long and valued friendship with the Community of the Sisters of the Church in St Paul’s, Bristol. The Sisters live a life of prayer and active service, combining a daily rhythm of worship with practical ministry amongst some of the most vulnerable people in the local community.

Their principal outreach is the Loaves & Fishes Ministry, through which they provide food parcels, pastoral care, practical support and friendship to around 250 people each week. The Sisters operate an open-door policy, welcoming anyone in need without judgement, and also offer help with form filling, phone calls, prayer support and occasional family activities and outings.

All Saints Clifton is grateful to maintain our historic links with the Sisters and their ministry, and Father Charles Sutton, Vicar of All Saints Clifton, serves as their Chaplain.
