All Saints Gets Gold - AGAIN!
We are delighted to announce that All Saints has been given a ‘Dementia Aware Organisation Gold Award’ for the second year running by Bristol Dementia Action Alliance (BDAA), in recognition of all the work we have done and continue to do, helping to raise awareness of dementia within our community. On behalf of church, Sue, Heather and Robert, volunteers at the All Saints Friends Together Café, attended the BDAA Awards’ Ceremony on Wednesday 27th September 2023 on behalf of church, and were delighted to accept our Gold Award for the second year running!
The Friends Together Café and our work in the dementia arena are a core part of our commitment to connecting with and transforming our community, and central to All Saints’ mission as a church. The BDAA Gold Award very much reflects our links with and the work we do with our community partners which include local businesses, VCFSE (Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise) sector organisations, as well as local health care and social care providers.
BDAA is one of our key community partners, and we have worked closely with them for many years. We’re proud to support the work they do, their goal being to make Bristol the dementia Friendly city in the UK! Have a look at the BDAA website to learn more about their wonderful work across the City.
