Friends Together Café at All Saints

Our dementia friendly café where everyone is welcome!

Our next Friends Together Cafe will be on....

Thursday 1st August, 10am-12pm

Our next Café is on Thursday 1st August, 10am-12pm, and this month, we'll be joined by Carmen Rodriguez from the 'Walk andCarers Support Centre logo Talk' initiative, operated by the Bristol Carers Support Centre. The 'Walk and Talk' service is committed to improving the health and wellbeing of carers and those they care for, by getting some gentle exercise, being outside in nature, and connecting with other carers.

Come along on the 1st August when Carmen will give a brief introduction about 'Walk and Talk' and then during the course of the Café will be available to chat to everyone on an individual basis about the scheme. Do take a look at the 'Walk and Talk' website here which gives you a bit more information on everything.

About Friends Together......

The All Saints dementia friendly café, Friends Together, is just one example of the many volunteer-led dementia support initiatives in Bristol.  The Café – originally called Friends on Friday – launched in May 2017 to coincide with that year’s Dementia Awareness Week.

Following a break during the Covid Pandemic, the Café was relaunched as Friends Together -  now on the first Thursday of every month from 10am-12pm - and six years’ on, it’s going from strength to strength. The Café is totally free, and whilst aimed at those living with dementia, their friends, family and carers, it’s essentially open to everyone and anyone, and provides activities, information, conversation, and friendship, along with tea/coffee and delicious home-made cakes!
